For the blogs that I read regularly, I leave comments. I like getting comments so I leave them to "share the love" so to say. Well last Friday was "ask everyone else" day at The Women's Colony. So being me, I left a few comments. I was actually "featured" (would that even be the right word?) in the Suitcase section when asked about the places we would want to travel to. Being pinpointed usually means more visitors, so if I have visitors from The Women's Colony, HELLO! I still have my Derfwad Manor tag/sticker/widget/whatever it's called on the side there and when I can figure out if there is one for The Colony, I'll put that one up instead.
I have posts for most of last week. A lot of them involve pictures. We had our scan and know WHO the babies are. Izzy turned 3. Still plenty more pics from the park. I'll work on those over this week. I'm worn out and tired. I've WWE Smackdown No Holds Barred going on in my belly and it wears me down. Add to it the passel of heathens I have running around and tired begins to make more sense. So keep scrolling down even if it looks like you read the most recent thing, you may just find something you didn't see before. And if nothing else, scroll to the bottom and play a little Poppit.
Prayers and Blessings everyone, I hope that you have a wonderful stressfree and non-tired inducing week.

I'd Like to Introduce...
...as the newest members of the Serial Household...
As Baby A we have Jack David. He was measuring 19 weeks and 6 days. His placenta is in the front of the uterus, which can make it more difficult to feel him moving around. It also explains why where he is laying looks so much bigger compared to where Baby B is.
Jason is debating about calling him Jack. He likes the name, however he doesn't feel that Jack really is a "baby" name. Jason was thinking of calling him Davie, or something like that. Audra suggested using the initials, J.D. Me, I'm not too keen on either of those ideas. I don't like using middle names as first names. If I wanted to use the name as the first name, it would be the first name. The same goes with initials as names. I know Jason orginally wanted David as the first name. I nixed it. I like the name, however I don't like it THAT much.
Jack is my grandfather's name. Jack is my brother's name. Jack is also about 7 other family members from my mom's side, all of whom we see rarely, if ever at all. In fact, the last time I saw any of them was when my grandfather (the same Jack) was married when Jayden was about 7 or 8 months old. My siblings aren't using the name Jack. I thought it'd be a nice tribute, especially considering that the babies will be born right around my grandfather's birthday. Izzy has Jason's middle name. The same middle name also happens to belong to Jason's dad, and Jason's grandfather. Jason's dad's name is David. So, to me at least, we have the "name the child after the grandfather" thing covered and I didn't feel the real need to do it a 2nd time with having David as a first name.
I figure I'll call him Jack. The kids will call him Jack. My family will call him Jack. If nothing else, he'll grow up wondering how come his dad can't get his name right!
And as Baby B we have Abbey Michelle. Now for those that know is IRL, you may or may not understand the full import of having a daughter with the first name Abbey and our last name. I'm going to sum it up simply by saying that Abbey is ALL Beatles tribute. Abbey was measuring at 20 weeks and 1 day. Her placenta is to the back.
I honestly thought that the babies were reversed and that the boy was the "bigger" baby. There isn't much difference in their size, and they are right on target for my 20 week mark, which is when the ultrasound took place.
This is where I made my compromise in naming our children. I really liked the name Maxine. However, Jason has said that for as long as he could remember, he would want a daughter named Abbey so that she could be that Beatles tribute. Yes, we are freaks, let's move on, shall we? So after much discussion with myself, not internal mind you, I talk outloud when I'm speaking, and debating, and yes, I debate outloud with myself too, it's not like the kids are actually listening to what I'm saying, I decided that I would give up Max and agree to Abbey.
Now to me, Abbey was a great compromise for Jack. Which I guess is why I'm upset (is it really upset or more disturbed? eh, who cares about the semantics of it) that Jason doesn't even want to use Jack's first name. I gave up a perfectly good name for another name that I kind of love so he could have a tribute that, to me, is kind of goofy and hokey. How many are taking bets that I win this one? Yeah, I wouldn't bet against me either.
It certainly seems that dreams do come true, oddly enough. Prayers and blessings everyone. I hope that, even with disagreement, your dreams do come true.

Happy 3rd Birthday Izz-Man!
I know, it's like a super hero name or something. Actually, being my kid, he'd be a "bad" guy and his name would be "Destructo Boy!" Can't forget the exclamation! Can destroy rooms in a single sitting! Lose shoes without a thought! Want to trip someone up on the stairs, this is your guy, he'll make a barricade that even the cat is hesitant to go up! Trust me, I'm NOT exaggerating on this one.
We had his cake on Sunday evening because I figured Jason would have to work today. However, I saved the pics for today. The cake isn't decorated or anything like that. We didn't sing "Happy Birthday" or do candles. He got all of his presents already. It was just cake.
We had the ultrasound today as well, however that is a post for a different day as today is the celebration of Izzy.
Prayers and blessings everyone. Enjoy the cake pics. Go and make a cake of your own, your kids will thank you!

Picture Heavy Post
I know I'm slacking. I'm sorry. Or am I? I don't really know. I know when I think of blogging, though I want to it seems to be so much WORK and lately work and I just don't get along. Work wants me to DO stuff and personally, I don't want to. I'm too tired. I'm too worn out. I just don't feel like it. Ok, enough of the excuses.
I'm continuing with the pics from the park over a week ago. There are over 20 in this post alone. A lot of them look similar, but Jason was playing with the action sequence. I added the Izzy ones at the end because he just didn't want to swing and I didn't want the guy to be left out. Don't mind my fatness. It's part of why I don't like my pics taken. It just reminds me of what I already know. Enjoy the pics and I hope everyone has a great week. Prayers and blessings all.

Almost Silent Sunday
Yesterday we went to the park. We had some rolls left over from Katie's Bridal Shower to get rid of, it was a gorgeous day, and Jason really needed some time to play with his new camera.
Jason took over 200 photos! He was playing with the "action sequence" function so he got some really good shots of consecutive actions, hence the name I guess. I narrowed it down to about 50 that I wanted to post. I'm going to break those up over a few days. Today, it's just the feeding of the ducks. Only 5 for today. I think tomorrow will be the swinging ones, and there will be about 15 of those. On Wednesday, we have the UltraSound where we will, hopefully, find out WHO the babies are, so I'll do an intro (I hope) post for them. There are some great shots of Izzy out for a stroll, James playing B-Ball and Jayden sliding that I want to share later in the week.
I hope everyone has a great week. It seems that our week will be interesting and somewhat revealing! The weather will be decent, forcast for the mid 50's, so it will be wonderful beginning of Spring weather! Prayers and blessings everyone!

James Caught a Mouse
With his bare hands at that!!! This afternoon he came downstairs with said mouse in his hand. He was holding the sucker by the tail and the mouse was dangling upside down there. I almost felt bad for the mouse, ALMOST.
I had James take him to the very back of our yard and toss it in to the neighbors yard in a pile of leaves. Maybe the little thing would find it's way in to someone else's house!
I had James wash his hands as soon as he came inside. He told me it bit him, so I took a look at the "damage". Being that it was a tiny little mouse, possibly less than a year old, though I have no idea how big grown mice get, it barely punctured the first couple layers of skin. No bleeding took place. I called the doc's office, just to be sure that he wouldn't need any shots. He's up to date on his shots (James, not the mouse) and as far as they know, mice usually don't carry rabies. Considering there was no bleeding, he should be OK.
Jason said that James is the only boy that he knows of who is better than the cats at catching the mice, especially considering our cats are worthless at doing it!
Not to be outdone, Ringo (the cat) caught a mouse later in the evening. I didn't take a look at that one, so I don't know if it was alive or dead when James tossed it out. Up until now, Ringo has been absolutely worthless at catching mice. Maybe he just needed to see that the mice are NOT welcome guests and that getting rid of them is a very GOOD thing indeed.
Prayers and blessings everyone. I hope that all the little critters in your home belong there, and if not, you have cats (or boys) who are able to catch them and rid your home of them!

Almost Silent Sunday
It's returned, Almost Silent Sunday has come back! YAY!!! With Jason's new toy, I'm going to try to take many more candid photos during the week so I have fodder for Sundays, and other days of the week, and for scrapbooking (need to get a photo color cartridge for the printer). I had Jason do these this afternoon. He was bumming because he couldn't get his external flash, or whatever it is called, to work. So it's back to the instruction book for him! And if that doesn't work, he does have a 90 day warrenty that should cover faulty equipment. The camera works wonderfully on it's own. Here I am at about 18 1/2 weeks along. I feel HUGE. I guess that is to be expected as there are TWO in there! I think I have got to be close to the size that I was with Izzy when I was around 7 months along with him, at least it certainly feels that way. I'm one of those that doesn't show for what seems forever and then all the sudden, BAM, it becomes OBVIOUS. That usually happens MUCH later in the pregnancy. Here I am in all my glory. Some serious (not many) and mostly goofy me in my pregnant glory. Prayers and blessings everyone, I hope you all have a wonderful week.
